Mustang Community Education produces a printed catalog two times per school year and reaches 25,000+ mailboxes in early February and August. Our printed catalog is filled with a variety of classes including dance, crafts, cooking, summer camps and afterschool care. The catalog is mailed to the Mustang community along with Bethany, Blanchard, El Reno, Moore, Newcastle, Oklahoma City, Tuttle, Yukon, and Wheatland. Celebrate the joy of homemade sweets and treats with our delightful class, perfect for the holidays and year-round indulgence. Learn to create three wonderful delights: freshly baked cinnamon rolls, luscious Basque burnt cheesecake, and velvety hot cocoa bombs. Make these treats for a memorable family breakfast, wrap them up as thoughtful gifts, or start a new holiday tradition by baking together with your children or significant other. Join us and add a touch of homemade magic to your celebrations! Have your questions answered by the instructor, interact with other participants as you cook along, and increase your confidence in the kitchen with each skill that is learned, each tidbit of advice and instruction that is shared. Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class to allow enough time for shopping and preparation. A professionally made PDF packet of the instructor's personal recipes from this class will also be received. As a bonus, Tess has created a private and public group on Facebook for participants of her classes. Everyone will receive an invite; joining is optional. Note: One registration fee for this online virtual class can include participants from the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required. Class takes place on Zoom, a free online software. You will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting. Please have a current email on file with us. If you need to cancel one of Tess's classes and you have already been sent a recipe for the class, you will not receive a refund. All of her recipes are originals and are her creative property and will be published in her cookbook. Therefore, we will not be issuing refunds. This class is not about the instant ramen you ate in college. Join us as we delve into the art of making authentic Japanese miso ramen from scratch. We’ll begin by crafting homemade ramen noodles, followed by braising flavorful cha shu chicken and preparing a rich miso broth. Our ramen will be served with marinated soft-boiled eggs and an array of delicious toppings, creating a comforting, and satisfying meal. By the end of this class, you’ll have the skills and confidence to recreate this delectable dish in your own kitchen, impressing family and friends with your culinary prowess. Participants need internet and a device with camera, microphone and speakers. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. Look to your email the day prior to class for information. (Remember to check your spam folder if you don't see it).
