  • Tropical Beats: Hula & Tahitian Dance (10+)

In this class, we’ll not only explore the foundations but also learn a simple yet enchanting choreographed dance, allowing you to embody the beauty of these Pacific Island dances.     Do you hate to drive in bad weather? Maybe you don’t see well at night. Expand your transportation options by utilizing a ride sharing service. Let Nickie teach you the basics and gain knowledge on how to use Uber. Asking friends for rides will no longer be an issue as you gain travel independence with this class.   • Use Venmo Safely in 2024 (15+)

    Stay up to date by expanding your knowledge and learn about the mobile payment service, Venmo. This class will teach you how to pay friends and businesses or receive money without using cash or checks. Gain a confident understanding of how to set up Venmo safely, fees to avoid, and real-world scenarios you may use with this mobile payment option.     Bring your animations to life with design tools used by real game developers! Create sophisticated sprite animations using simple-to-learn techniques that you can use in any 2D editor. Squash, stretch, and shade your creations to make your characters pop! Students do not need any prior experience in game design, animation, or sketching. Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Discover concrete solutions (not tricks, not using your will power) for controlling appetite and cravings to safely break the cycle of hormone-related weight gain. Topics include boosting metabolism, hormone mimicking chemicals, HRT and much more. Learn steps to be taken to safely break the vicious cycle of hormone related weight gain. Class takes place on Zoom, a free online software. You will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting.     Every child can code! Develop your skills as a young coder by exploring block coding, JavaScript, and Python concepts while making your own playable mini-games.
