Immerse yourself in the rhythmic movements and vibrant expressions of these captivating dance forms. In this class, we’ll not only explore the foundations but also learn a simple yet enchanting choreographed dance, allowing you to embody the beauty of these Pacific Island dances. Join us for a lively and enriching experience that blends tradition, rhythm, and movement.
It is recommended to bring a Pareu/Sarong, but not necessary for the class.
Enrollment Deadline is 2 days prior to the start of class.
Jennelle was raised in Hawaii and has participated in many Hawaiian cultured crafts and dance. She learned hula at the age of five and Tahitian at thirteen. She has several years experience through competitive dancing in hula festivals, ori group and solo competitions and was a professional entertainer for fifteen years in Hawaii. In addition, she traveled to Japan and Guam sharing her love and passion for dance. Jennelle is also well versed in lei making and has shared both with many people over the years.
