Have you always wanted to learn the art of bellydance? In this class, you will experience a fun way to exercise and get your body moving. Through this class, participants will be introduced to a variety of basic isolation movements used and practice appropriate technique to avoid injury. All the skills learned will be used to create a short, choreographed dance piece at the end of the class. Bellydance is for every body and ALL are welcome. No special supplies are need. Wear clothing that allows you to exercise, stretch and dance comfortably. Wearing a hip scarf or coin belt is a fun way to see your hip movements during practice but is not a requirement.
