Step into the spotlight with this one-week Summer Intensive where young performers audition for roles, jump into rehearsals, and bring an entire production to life in only five days. This camp is registration based, so every student who signs up secures a spot in the cast. The week wraps with a public performance on Friday, July 24 at 5:00 PM at the Mustang Performing Arts Center, giving students the chance to shine onstage in front of family and friends. Supplies needed: Daily lunch, snacks and water bottle. Space is limited to 45 spots.
Becca graduated in 2017 with a degree in education and went on to teach 2nd grade for four years before stepping back to co-found Metro Youth Theatre with her sister, Amanda Michele. Becca has over 6 years in music theatre, ballet, and tap training, as well as, three years’ experience teaching show choir and music theatre style to youth from 1st-12th grades. She has choreographed 4 full scale musicals multiple choir productions with over 300 students involved and has taught multiple dance and Broadway camps at Oklahoma Children's Theatre. MYT is a non-profit musical theatre for students ages 8-18. Both Becca and Amanda grew up performing and love bringing their passion for musical theatre to a new generation.
