Be part of an unforgettable experience with our 2ND annual Community Theatre Production of Shrek the Musical, brought to life by Metro Youth Theatre! Auditions are open this April/May, offering aspiring performers a chance to shine. Rehearsals will take place on weekday evenings (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) throughout May and June for the selected cast. The magical journey concludes with dazzling performances on June 26th and 27th at the Mustang Performing Arts Center. Becca graduated in 2017 with a degree in education and went on to teach 2nd grade for four years before stepping back to co-found Metro Youth Theatre with her sister, Amanda Michele. Becca has over 6 years in music theatre, ballet, and tap training, as well as, three years’ experience teaching show choir and music theatre style to youth from 1st-12th grades. She has choreographed 4 full scale musicals multiple choir productions with over 300 students involved and has taught multiple dance and Broadway camps at Oklahoma Children's Theatre. MYT is a non-profit musical theatre for students ages 8-18. Both Becca and Amanda grew up performing and love bringing their passion for musical theatre to a new generation.
